John A. Eavenson June 3, 2010 LAUREL - Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Parkview Baptist Church for John Allen Eavenson, 61, of Laurel, who died June 2, 2010, at his home. Burial is in Lake Park Hills Cemetery in Laurel. Mr. Eavenson was a member of Parkview Baptist Church where he served as deacon, Sunday school superintendent, Sunday school teacher and church treasurer. He was an Army veteran and member of the American Legion and VFW. Survivors include his wife, Judy Walters Eavenson of Laurel; a daughter, Stacey Eavenson Landrum of Laurel; three brothers, Charles Eavenson of Ellisville, Paul Eavenson of Hattiesburg and Steve Eavenson of Seminary; and one grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernie and Louise Eavenson. Memorials may be made to Parkview Baptist Church Building Fund, 910 North 10th Avenue, Laurel, MS 39441.
