Funeral services held for Roy Dunckley at Hayden HAYDEN—Funeral services for Mr. Roy Dunckley were held Friday afternoon at the Congregational Church with Rev. Walter Stark in charge. Forrest Markle sang, "In The Garden" and "The Old Rugged Cross", with Mrs. Carroll at the organ. Roy Sylvester Dunckley was born in Victor, Kan., April 8, 1892, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Dunckley. He was engaged in farming for a number of years. In January 1939, he came to Colorado and was range rider for the ranchers in this vicinity for several years as well as other ranch work around Hayden and Craig. He passed away of a heart attack at his home in Grand Junction on Sept. 25. He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Brown of Fruita, Mrs. Wilma Frost of Craig, Mrs. Ruby Rogers of Hayden and Mrs. Dorothy Iacovetti of Artesia; sister, Mrs. Myra Campbell of Fruita; and grandchildren. Pallbearers were Ben Sellers, Raymond Yoast, George Giboney, Ernest Sines, Reid Temple, Albert Baierl. Burial was in the Hayden cemetery.--N.W. Colorado Press, Friday, Oct. 7, 1960, P. 4
