Edith Mae Adcock Vallance MEMPHIS - Edith Mae Adcock Vallance, 86, died Sunday, Oct. 24, 1999. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Neely Landrum officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery by Memphis Funeral Home. Mrs. Vallance was born in Denton and was a longtime Memphis resident. A homemaker, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Victory Sunday School Class. She married Dutch Vallance in 1947 at Memphis. He died in 1982. Survivors include her sister, Wanda Crawford of Memphis, and numerous nieces and nephews. Family visitation will be from 4 until 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. After her marriage to Charles "Dutch) Vallance in 1947 she worked in the Vallance Food Store in Hedley and Memphis,Texas. After her retirement and the death of Dutch she continued to make her home in Memphis,Texas.
