Bio

Loraine Cerny, 97, of Kingfisher died Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, at Kingfisher Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Sanders Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Marilyn Merle officiating. Burial followed in the Kingfisher Cemetery. Prior to her marriage to Cerny she was married to Howard Aufdenkamp in Charleston IL. January 7, 1934. She was born Dec. 5, 1914, in Mattoon, Ill., to Ernest D. and Sarah Elizabeth Partlow Sampson. She married John Cerny on May 30, 1950, in Las Vegas, Nev.They farmed east of Kingfisher. She moved into Kingfisher in 1991. She was a member of the First Christian Church and the Kingfisher Rebekah Lodge No. 6. Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers and five sisters
