Beulah Ferne Swett, 78, of Wahoo, formerly of Burwell, died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012, at the Saunders County Long Term Care in Wahoo. Beulah was born July 17, 1933, in Atkinson to Morgan Moses and Hazel Ferne (Boettcher) Welton. Beulah married Kenneth James Swett on Jan. 5, 1962, in Chamberlain, S.D. Survivors are: husband, Ken Swett of Wahoo; son, Earl Swett of St. Libory; daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Bob Gottbreht of Ceresco; five grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Duane "Spike" and Betty Welton of Burwell, Ron and Avis Welton of Bryant, S.D., and Lavern and Kathy Welton of Rathdrum, Idaho. Burial was in the Cottonwood Cemetery, NEBurwell. Published in The Grand Island Independent on January 24, 2012
