Bio

Floyd Huffman, 74, passed away on January 12, 2012, at his home in San Saba. He was born on March 29, 1937 to Floyd and Dorothy Huffman in Ronoke, Texas. He lived in San Saba County for the last 40 years and worked as a ranch manager on Barfield Ranch . In 1975 he married Alma Louise Huffman. He loved to be outdoors where he hunted, fished, and worked. As long as he could be outside, he was a happy man. He was a good friend to all and will be greatly missed. Floyd is survived by his sons, Robert (Debbie) Huffman of Jacksonville; Brad (Wendy) Huffman of Granbury; his daughters, Kelly Jenkins and Tina Patton; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mildred (Joe) Law; special friend, Donna Patton; numerous nieces and nephews; many adopted grandchildren and many, many dear friends. Floyd was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Louise Huffman; his parents, Floyd Sr., and Dorothy Huffman; and two brothers, Chuck Huffman, and Debs Huffman. Services were held January 16, with burial following at Harmony Ridge Cemetery.Officiating the service was James Jones. Arrangements were under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home of San Saba.
