Dill Last Rites Are Slated Friday Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Whitehurst Chapel for John Henry Dill, 81, of Dos Palos who died February 18 at his residence following a long illness. Rev. Walter Moody, Assembly of God church will conduct the rites and interment will be in the Dos Palos Cemetery. Born January 16, 1880 at Kansas City, Kansas, Dill has resided in Dos Palos for the past 29 years. Before his retirement he was caretaker at the Dos Palos Cemetery. Surviving are his wife Bertha; four sons, Melvin and Verlin of Dos Palos, Sylvan of San Jose, and Beyrl of Hayward; one brother Joe of Lexington, Nebraska, one sister, Mrs. Rosie Ross of Modesto; twelve grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
