Bio

Martha E "Mattie" Hutto was the daughter of George Solomon Hutto and Sarah Elizabeth "Lizzie" Cobb Hutto. She 1st married William "Jessie" Johnson, 2nd married unknown, 3rd married Harrison Eugene "Harry" Zickefoose, 4th married Wesley Bennett Lacey. Although her cemetery marker shows her to have been born in 1894, the 1900 & 1910 census records of Shelby County, Tx. show her as the 3rd child, born abt. 1892 to G S and Lizzie Hutto. The last name Lacey is also misspelled on her marker.Her last husband "Wesley" Lacey is buried in Henderson, Texas next to his sister. I don't know why, seems he clearly meant to be buried beside Martha when he had her marker made. "Mattie had one child", a daughter, Ruby Lee Johnson, Ruby Lee married Raleigh Raymond Black.
