He married Louvinia Elizabeth "Lou" Turner on 4 August 1894 in Manor, Travis, Texas. To this union ten known children were born. John Wesley owned farms in Coleman, Coleman, Texas, Elgin, Bastrop, Texas and Weston, Collin, Texas. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
