Submitted by: John Stoutimore Entered by: Steven M Gibbs The Galveston Daily News, Galveston, Tex. 12-16-1891: Died at College. TRINITY, Tex., Dec. 15.--Mr. W. P. Barr, from Aurora, Tex., stopped here yesterday on his way to Jasper, Tex., with the remains of Mr. Jep Scarborough. The young man was attending the Louisville medical college in Louisville, Ky. Mr. Scarborough was taken sick with la grippe one day and died the next. His classmates very noble and promptly raised sufficient money and appointed Mr. Barr as a committee to accompany the remains home. He left for Jasper on the Trinity and Sabine railway this morning and will reach there to-day.
