Bio
BALDWYN – Margaret Boxx, 55, died at her home. She was a graduate of Baldwyn High School. She was a retired nurse, working more than 30 years at Oakview and Baldwyn Nursing Homes. She was a member of Parkers Chapel Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Waters Funeral Home in Baldwyn with Bro. Rex Bullock and Bro. Chuck Boxx officiating. Burial will be in the Kirkville Cemetery. Survivors include seven brothers and sisters, Terry Boxx of Baldwyn, Bonita Scott (Mike) of Baldwyn, Cindy Bullock (Lyle) of Booneville, Robert Boxx (Regina) of Tupelo, Brenda Barnes (Ernie) of Baldwyn, Linda Nichols (Bobby) of Booneville and Wilma Looney (Bobby of Byhalia; a host of nieces and nephews; special friends, Martha Gardner, Glenda Turner and Joyce Ragin, all of Baldwyn. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Lillian Moore Boxx, and two brothers, Larry Boxx and Gene Boxx. Pallbearers will be Brandon Scott, Cody Boxx, J.R. Boxx, Steve Barnes, Braxton Barnes, Chuck Helton and Randy Potts. Honorary pallbearers will be Cory Lee Boxx and Tommy Boxx. The family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time Saturday. Read more: djournal.com & Daily Journal 1-13-2012
