Bio

Son of Thomas F. Jenkins (b. Georgia) and Artie (Cobb) Jenkins (b. Tennessee). Born Chattanooga, TN. Grew up in Lewisville, Texas. Served in Btry E 133 F until discharge. Inducted 15May1918 in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Served overseas 31July1918 to 20March1919. Honorably discharged 02April1919. BC worked as a brick mason and a superintendent for a bridge company in Dallas and later as a civil engineer for the Texas State Highway Department. Son Robert married in Ohio in 1953 during USAF service at Wright-Patterson AFB.
