Funeral Services For A. Kinney at Burwell - Funeral services were held for Anson Kinney, 70, at Burwell in the Christian Church at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, May 4. Mr. Kinney passed away at Burwell May 2. Mr. Kinney is well known in this community as he operated the artificial ice plant here for a time. He is a sister of Mrs. J. N. Berney of Wolbach. Anson S. Kinney was born in Nance County to Arvis and Sarah Kinney, on September 16, 1879, and departed from this life May 2, 1950, at the age of 70 years, 6 months and 16 days. He grew to manhood on their old homestead in Nance County. On July 2, 1906, he was united in marriage to Henrietta Dudschus. To this union were born four children, all of whom survive him. Later, August 9, 1945, he was married to Anna Wiesman of Grand Island. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arvis and Sarah; his wife Anna, and his brother John. He leaves to mourn his passing one son, Anson Jr. of Burwell; three daughters, Louise Hopkins and Bertha Freeland of Burwell and Mayetta Beat of Lincoln, Nebraska; one sister, Bertha Berney of Wolbach, Nebraska; and four grandchildren besides many other relatives and friends. Services were conducted from the Christian Church by Albert Delbridge. Interment was in the Burwell Cemetery. Pallbearers were Frank Gregory, Bill Garska, Elmer Freeland, Ed Moore, Art Moore and Otto Moore. Out-of-town relatives attending the funeral services were: Mr. and Mrs. J. N.
