Anna Barta wife of Emil Barta. _________________ ANOTHER SAD DEATH OF AN ESTIMABLE WEIMAR LADY After an illness extending over several weeks,the spirit of Mrs.Annie Barta,beloved wife of Mr.Emil Barta,was wafted unto its Creator,her death occurring Friday evening of last week.Mrs.Barta was taken ill some time ago with a form of paralysis.Her condition growing worse,she was taken to San Antonio for treatment,but able specialists there said they could hold out no hope,and the devoted husband brought her home,his heart heavy with the knowledge that she could only be with him a short time at best.Every attention that he,assisted by loving relatives and friends and family physician,could give the stricken one was freely given,but it was of no avail.Her condition grew worse steadily but surely,and on Friday evening,calling her devoted husband to her,she kissed him good-bye and told him to meet her in the happier world above,where she would await his coming.Clos-[sic] her eyes,Death soon claimed her.The body was tenderly prepared for burial by the loving hands of friends,and on Saturday afternoon at 3:30 was laid to rest in St. Michael's cemetery,Rev.Jos. Szymanski performing the last sad rites.Mrs.Barta leaves a heart-broken husband and three little children to mourn the death of a beloved wife and mother.She was a lovable,good woman,highly thought of by everyone who knew her,always thoughtful of those about her,tender hearted and charitable to a fault.Many friends join with us in extending deepest sympathy to the breaved husband and children,with the sincere hope that a merciful Father will comfort them as He alone can.
