Bio
Rev. Howard Thomas Ogle, 93, of 41 Mothers Way, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2012 at John F. Keever Solace Center. He was a native of Madison County and a son of the late Tom and Bessie Chandler Ogle. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Bonada Flasher Ogle, brothers; Merritt, George, Everett and Arnold Ogle, three sisters, Nell, Mae and Grace and son-in-law, Bernard Murray. Howard was a Baptist minister and was a member of Grapevine Baptist Church. He had worked with Madison County as an electrical inspector and worked with commodity foods. Surviving are his daughters; Shirley Murray and Cynthia (Ronnie) Baker, sons Lane (Othella) Ogle and Rodney Ogle all of Marshall, sisters; Ruby Anders of S. C. and Altha Joe Straiton of TN, grandchildren; Judy Lynn, Rhonda, Shawna, Amber and James, great grandchildren; Christian, Bailey, Matthew, Brock, Abby, Ashley and Isaac. The funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday, January 10, 2012 in Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service, Mars Hill. Rev. Larry Sprouse will officiate. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Thomas Branch Cemetery. Blue Ridge Funeral Home Obit, Mars Hill NC
