World War I veteran The Oklahoman, Monday, March 16, 1961: Services for Claude C. McDuffey, 65, of 612 NW 42, who died Sunday in Mercy Hospital, will be 2 pm Tuesday in Hahn-Cook Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Mausoleum. McDuffey was born at Bonham, Texas and came to Oklahoma City in 1919. He was an independent oil operator. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of First Christian Church. Surviving are his wife, Frances; mother, Leona McDuffey, of the home; and a sister, Mrs J. C. Murphy, Houston. ------------ Parents: Thomas W. & Leona H. McDuffey. His father married 2nd wife Beulah Taylor in 1928 in Collin Co, TX.
