Bio

BORGER - Glynn Johnston, 81, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Highland Park Cemetery with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors. Mr. Johnston was a native of Lamesa. He served in the Marine Corps as a sergeant during World War II. Survivors include his wife, Nona; a son, Larry Johnston of Chicago; a stepson, Ed Edwards of Garland; a stepdaughter, Sherry Wood of Round Rock; a sister, Bernice Jackson of Lamesa; a grandson; five stepgrandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
