SSGT US ARMY WORLD WAR II Emil was the fourth child of John and Frances Jonas Noha and born March 11, 1909 in Colon, Nebraska. His father was a farmer. By 1920 the family was living in Stocking Township and still farming, and Edward and Frank had been born. At the age of 21, Emil was living with his older sister Rose and her husband, John Rezac and farming with John. By 1940 Emil had moved back home and was farming with his father. His youngest brother, Johnnie age 18, was the only other sibling at home. Emil registered for the draft, but I am unsure if he was drafted or joined around 1940 or 41. He rose to the rank of SSgt in the US Army. Anyone with more information on Emil, please let me know.
