Deborah White Jan 8, 1960-Dec 31, 2005 ALLIANCE - Deborah Dee White, 45, died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2005, at her home.Deb was born at Gillette, Wyo., on Jan. 8, 1960, to Delbert and Aletta Hussey. She grew up at Chadron and graduated from Chadron High School and Chadron State College where she obtained her B.S. in Education. She spent several years as a classroom teacher in the public schools with a majority of that time at Hot Springs, S.D. She later moved to Omaha to attend the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where she received her Master's and EDS degrees. She began her career as a school psychologist in the Millard Public Schools for three years prior to moving to Alliance in 1999, where she continued working with her beloved students. Deb was active in the professional organizations in her field, Phi Delta Kappa (honorary educational organization), Nebraska School Psychologists Association (member and prior executive for four years), and the National Association of School Psychologists. She maintained a credential as a nationally certified school psychologist and took part in numerous trainings for staff and others in the state. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, at S. Patrick's Catholic Church at Chadron, with Fr. Edward Courtney officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Deborah Dee ‘Deb' Hussey WHITE, 45 of Alliance, died Saturday, Dec. 31, at her home in Alliance. Services were held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Chadron Jan. 7, 2006. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery. Deb was born in Gillette, Wyo., on Jan. 8, 1960 to Delbert and Aletta Hussey. Chamberlain Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
