Claudie Mae Knutson, 84, of Waco, passed away Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, at a local hospital. Services will be 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, at Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rick Cobb officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, at Bellmead Funeral Home. Claudie was born in Zaneis, Oklahoma, to the late Claude and Mae (Keith) Southward. She enjoyed traveling and fishing, and especially loved playing house with Bella. She was a member of Lake Shore Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Knutson, in 2007; a son, Mark David Knutson in 1993; and two brothers. Survivors include her son, Larry Knutson and wife, Wanda, of Lacy Lakeview; daughter-in-law, Marque Mooney, of Stephenville; grandchildren, Melanie Conger, Marcie Knutson, Lesly Yerger and John Knutson II; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends.
