Atlanta Constitution, Friday, May 13, 1927: WATKINS—The friends and relatives of Mr. Reese P. Watkins, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Attaway, Palmetto, Ga.; Mrs. Della Thrasher, Atlanta, Ga.; Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Watkins, McKinney, Texas; Mr. and Mrs. Phillip R. Watkins, Tallapoosa, Ga.; Mr. and Mrs. J. Conda [sic] Watkins, College Park, Ga.; Mr. and Mrs. B. P. Watkins, Atlanta, Ga.; Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Watkins, Fairburn, Ga. are invited to attend the funeral of Mr. Reese P. Watkins this (Friday) morning, May 13, at 11 o'clock, at the residence of Mr. J. M. Attaway. The following gentlemen will please serve as pallbearers and meet at the residence at 10:45 o'clock. Mr. J. M. Attaway, Mr. Phillip R. Watkins, Mr. J. Conda [sic] Watkins, Mr. R. L. Watkins, Mr. C. R. Thrasher, Mr. J. T. Thrasher. Interment will be in Sardis cemetery. M. W. Holsomback, Fairburn, Ga., funeral director.
