Bio
It was just plain "Fannie" for short, but my great grand-mother really did have all the names shown above. When you look at the list of her children on this Memorial you can imagine just how many grand Children would have to fight for her attention at one of the yearly Family Reunions. It was on these occasions that my dad and his siblings would make a game out of learning to recite all of her names and of course in the correct order. Sadly Fannie died the year before I was born, so I never received the love that I am told she bestowed on all that met her. Apparently she was the glue that held such a large family together.
