Bio

Paragould Soliphone, April 23 1934 Andrew Combs, aged about 54, of Ozark, Johnson County, was killed in a truck accident at Cowell, Newton County, about 2 p.m. yesterday. Combs suffered a broken neck. He was reported to have lost control of his truck and it turned over. Combs was well known here, having lived in this county 15 or 20 years. He formerly was a miner, and recently had been employed as timber foreman by the Clark & Moore Lumber Co. of Cowell. The body was brought here last night by the Hartwick Undertaking company. Funeral arrangements had not been completed. Combs is survived by his wife, who lives at Fayetteville, a son, Otto, of Duncan, Okla.; a daughter, who lives at Washington, D.C. and a grandson.
