Middlesboro (KY) Daily News December 3, 1951: Ora Lee Nida, 69 years of age, Rose Hill, Virginia, passed away in a local hospital early last night. He is survived by his widow, Ila Carter Nida; one daughter, Mrs. Violet Youltz [sic--Yost], North Platte, Nebraska; two sons, Ralph of North Platte, Nebraska and Ora, Jr., a member of the armed forces in Korea; three sisters, Mrs. J. W. Miller, Broken Bow, Nebraska, Mrs. James Smith, Portland, Oregon, and Mrs. William Collins of Oakland, California; four brothers, E. B. of Rose Hill; Freeman, Merna, Nebraska, Arlie of Oakland, California and Clarence of Roanoke, Virginia and one step-son, Conley Carter of Rose Hill. The body will remain at Richmond Funeral Home until noon, Wednesday. Funeral services will be conducted at Cedar Hill Christian Church, nine miles east of Rose hill at 2 p. m. Wednesday afternoon with Rev. R. R. Haynes officiating. Burial will be in the family cemetery near the church. Richmond Funeral Home in charge.
