FORT WORTH - Thomas Benjamin Baxter, 71, a retired accountant, passed away Friday, Sept. 22, 2000 at his residence. Funeral: 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Baumgardner Chapel in Fort Worth. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Baumgardner Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Thomas B. Baxter was born Nov. 21, 1928 in Waco, to Edward E. and Winnie Barton Baxter. Survivors: Wife, Lynn Baxter of Fort Worth; son, Thomas Baxter of Fort Worth; brother, Ewing Baxter of Edmond, Okla., and Eugene Baxter of McKinney.
