Anderson dropped dead from a stroke of apoplexy on his ranch near Georgetown Friday. Mr. Anderson was 72 years of age and had spent the major portion of his life in Georgetown. Friday morning he arose, seemingly in perfect health. After helping his wife around home, for she is not well, he then dressed a chicken for dinner. With A. W. Gray he rode out to his ranch to see if the stock were getting plenty of water. Mr. Gray left him for a short time and upon his return he found Mr. Anderson's body leaning against a tree with his head on one side. Death must have come instantaneously Services will be held from his home at 4 pm Saturday. He leaves a widow and two brothers. (obituary courtesy Judy Murphy #47209326)
