Merlin "Gene" Coleman (1956 - 2012) Merlin "Gene" Coleman, 55, entered into heaven with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012. Funeral: 3 p.m. Tuesday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Chapel. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Merlin, also known as "Grumpy" to his grandchildren, was very passionate about his family and grandchildren. He loved to be outside and loved his motorcycles. Survivors: Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 30 years, Carla Coleman; sons, Matt Coleman and wife, Kristin, Mark Coleman; brother, Roger Coleman; sisters, Kathy Coleman and Pam Coleman; grandchildren, Taylor, Parker and Addison; and soon-to- be grandchild, Austin.
