Bio

Ruth F. McIntyre, 72, of Wolbach died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011, at home. Ruth was born Aug. 13, 1939, in North Loup in the same house her father was born in to Herman and Florence (Vergin) Nass. Ruth married Mike McIntyre on Feb. 28, 1962 in Wolbach. Survivors are: daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Brad Loseke of Omaha; grandsons, Tyler and Tom Loseke of Omaha; and special friend, Don Poss of Wolbach. Ruth graduated in 1956 from North Loup High School. Ruth attended The University of Nebraska at Kearney, where she earned her English and Business degree in three years. Ruth taught school in Wolbach for almost all of her 37 years of teaching. Ruth was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in St. Paul and was a member of the former St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Wolbach. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Warren and Stella Vergin; and a great-aunt, Bertha. Burial was in the Ord Cemetery. Ord, NE.
