A funeral mass for Dorothy Zahn Brenk, 77, of Rosenberg, will be held at 10:00 A. M., Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg with Father William D. Bartniski officiating. Interment will follow at 1:00 P. M. at Evergreen Memorial Park in Wharton. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M., with a rosary being recited at 6:30 P. M., Wednesday, December 21, 2011, at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg. Dorothy was born August 31, 1934 in Wharton to Alphonse Zahn and Gustie Pilcik Zahn. She worked as a service assistant for Southwestern Bell for over 40 years. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and Catholic Daughters. Dorothy passed away December 18, 2011 in Sugar Land. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Alphonse and Gustie Zahn. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Theodore Brenk; her daughters, Janet Mezzano and husband, Vince and Lisa Yarbrough; grandchildren, Nathan and Lauren Mezzano and Trace Yarbrough; her brother, Alphonse J. Zahn, "Jr."; along with other relatives and many friends. Pallbearers will include Gerard Krenek, Mark Krenek, Richard Zahn, Jay Cervenka, Leroy Stavinoha and Bart Brenk. Memorial donations may be made to Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1416 George Street, Rosenberg, Texas, 77471.
