Decatur Herald 11/26/1940 James H.Cook, 64 a retired carpenter and cabinet maker died late Sunday night in his home here. He had been ill for the past several months. He was born Dec. 28,1876 in England and came to the United States when he was seven years old. He leaves his wife, Coda, a daughter, Miss Helen Cook at home, a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Potter, Sullivan a bother T.E.Cook,Decatur. Funeral services will be conducted 2 pm Tuesday in the McMullin funeral home with burial in Kellar cemetery. obituary furnished by Janet Donner -------------------------
