Bio

daughter of John Forrest Armstrong - Lula Estelle Dodds She attended schools in Coleman and Clovis, New Mexico. She moved to Breckenridge in 1950. She was a Nurse's aide for Dr. Goodall for 20 years, and worked at Stephens Memorial Hospital, Overall Morris Hospital in Coleman and in Clovis, New Mexico. Ilene Lula Armstrong married Richard G. Douglass on 11 June 1970at Breckenrdige, Texas. She was a member of Elliott Street Church of Christ in Breckenridge. Survivors: one son - R.G. Hutchins of Poolville; daughter and son-in-law - Jody and Dr. Bill Watkins of Breckenridge; sister-in-law - Ineta Armstrong of Midland; eight grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
