Charley Joseph Anderson 1945-2005 Funeral for Charley Joseph Anderson, 60, of Springtown was Friday, Oct. 21, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. The Rev. Robert M. Baker officiated. Burial followed at Pleasant Grove Cemetery No. 2 in Keeter. Anderson died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2005, in Fort Worth. Born Jan. 27, 1945, in Dallas, to William Jenning and Mary Louise (Murray) Anderson, he was a retired steel salesman. He married Marilyn Purdy on Dec. 4, 1970, in Fort Worth. He was an avid fisherman and served in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Anderson, of Springtown; a son, Keith Climer of Decatur; four daughters, Linda Husband and Rhonda Banks and husband, Rob, all of Springtown, Katherine Anderson of Fort Worth and Sharolyn Nelson and husband, Jerry of Pima, Ariz.; a brother, W.J. Anderson and wife, Sherry, of Fort Worth; two sisters, Regina Holder and husband, Jeff, of Boyd and Mary Jackson and husband, Lewis, of Marble Falls; nine grandchildren, Hayli, Havyn, Lyndsi, Laureyn, Logan, Brandon, Jason, Brad and Aaron and numerous nephews and nieces. Pallbearers were Donald Moore, Rodney Covington, Joe Moore, Quinn Wilson, Chris Erwin and Gary Nichols. Published Sunday, October 23, 2005
