Services for Winona Price Hanks, 84, of Lubbock will be held in W. W. Rix Chapel at 3 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Mel Hooten officiating. Interment will follow in City of Lubbock Cemetery. Photos She died Sunday in Lubbock. The native of Haskell County came to Lubbock in 1949 and married Jim Hanks May 31, 1958. She was employed by Frito-Lay in quality control from 1957 until 1980, when she retired.She was a member of South Park Baptist Church. She was preceded by her husband, in 1996, her brother in 2002 and stepsons Eddie in 2005 and Marshall in 1992. Surviving are her children, Alton Leroy Baker, and wife Nelda Jean, Weldon Linn Baker and wife Marilyn Jane, all of Lubbock, Dale Wayne Baker, and wife Myra Mae, of Fort Worth, John William Hanks and wife Melonie, of Tempe, AZ; sisters Lyla Connell of Lubbock, Betty Kaylor, and husband Melvin, of Borger; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and 7 step-grandchildren.
