***************************************** Barbara Ann Garver age 72 of Lincoln, Nebraska died on Monday, February 21, 2011 in Lincoln. She was born on November 8, 1938 in Fargo, North Dakota to Louis and Eleanor (Makovicka) Fiala. Barbara worked at State Farm Insurance for 28 years and then she worked part-time for 17 1/2 years for American Greetings. Barbara is survived by her husband Robert of Lincoln; son and daughter-in-law, Robert II and Julie Garver of Lincoln; grandchildren, Marisa Nicole and Ryan Lee Garver; sister, Judie Rogers of Lincoln; 1 niece and 2 nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law, Billy Rogers. Barbara's request was to have no public visitation or funeral service. A private family graveside service will be held on Friday at Fairview Cemetery. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
