Funeral services for Addie Belle Stevens, age 87 of Crandall, Texas will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 11, 2011 at the First Community Church in Crandall with Rev. Jim Wilkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Crandall Cemetery under the direction of Roselawn Funeral Home of Seagoville. Addie Stevens was born October 9, 1924 in Collin County, Texas a daughter of the late Preston and Edith Brown Smallwood and passed away on December 8, 2011 in Mesquite. Addie was married to T.B. Stevens and he preceded her in death. Mrs. Stevens worked for Texas Instruments for several years as an assembly technician. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Crandall for many years and is also preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter Stacie Boyd Goff, a great great grandchild as well as 2 sisters and 1 brother. She is survived by her daughters, Doris Helm and her husband Buck of Crandall and Karen Harper and her husband Ronnie of Combine; Sons, Johnny Stevens of Seagoville and Jerry Stevens of Crandall; 15 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren and a sister, Nancy Seibert of Dallas as well as numerous other friends and relatives.
