Magnolia Hartfiel Kramer passed away December 10, 2011, at her home in Needville, TX, at the age of 87. She was born December 2, 1924, in Needville, TX. Magnolia was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Legion Post #350 for 54 years. Magnolia was owner and operator of the City Club of Needville for 30 years with O.J. by her side. She was a life member of Immanuel United Church of Christ, and she supported all surrounding communities buying afghans, which she collected throughout the years. Magnolia is survived by her three children, Ronald Kramer and wife, Joy, Deborah Lindemann and husband, Donald, and Nancy Stasney and husband, Ronnie; grandchildren, Lisa Bailey, Jennifer Reist and husband, Mel, Kristen Rouse and husband, Freddy, Jason Stasney and wife, Lori; Derek Lindemann and fiancee, Hanna Bosak; great grandchildren, C.J. Johansen, Caleb and Amanda Bailey, Kaitlyn and Kolby Reist, Reagan Rouse and Kaisen Stasney; sister, Bernice Miller and husband, Irvin; and brother, Roy Hartfiel. Magnolia is preceded in death by the love of her life, O.J. Stransky, July 27, 2011. They were blessed with each other's companionship for 49 years, along with their dog, Spotty. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Matilda Hartfiel, and by brothers, Raymond and Herbert Hartfiel. Magnolia's highlight of the day was "making the rounds" with O.J. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Race For the Cure, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309, or to Immanuel United Church of Christ, 9018 Church St, Needville, TX 77461, or to the Ladies Auxiliary Legion Post #350, Needville, TX 77461. Visitation will be held 5 - 8:00 PM Wednesday, December 14, 2011, at Garmany & Carden Funeral Chapel, 3103 School Street, Needville, TX 77461. Funeral services will be 10 AM Thursday, December 15, 2011, at Immanuel United Church of Christ, 9018 Church Street, Needville, TX 77461, with interment following at Sitta Cemetery, Needville, TX. Pallbearers will be Jason Stasney, Derek Lindemann, Freddy Rouse, Mel Reist, Jimmy Miller, and Jerrel Hartfiel. Honorary Pallbearers will be Louis "Peanut" Reyes, Gary "Buck" Kalinowski, Jimmy Dorr, Cade McBee, Darrel "B. J." Kucera, Joe Kramer, and the Ladies Auxiliary Legion Post 350.
