Bio

Sallie Catherine Henderson, 85, of Liberty died April 5, 1988 at Golden Nursing Home. Funeral was held April 7, 1988 at First Pentecostal Church in Buna with burial in Morse Cemetery under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. A native of Cravens, LA., she lived in the Silsbee-Evadale area most of her life before moving to Liberty eight years ago. Survivors include six daughters: Lola Mae Goins of Center; Betty Ruth Huff of Liberty; Pauline Durham of Huffman; Thelma Jean Jordan of Buna; Wilma Dean Johnson of Channelview and Sue Johnson of Hardin; five sons: Alfred Henderson of Fayettville, NC; Luther Henderson of Livingston; Mark Henderson of Lumberton; and Lennis Henderson of Vidor; 43 grandchildren and 65 great-grandchildren.
