From 120 year old family Bible of Mary Jane McCary Murphy and James Sodine Murphy Sr. -- Nancy Eliza Murphy (oldest daughter) born 9/30/1850 married Miles Courtney (born 10/4/1838 in Manekaas, Ireland; He died 12/5/1920 and is buried in Good Hope Cemetery, Shelby County Texas) 12/25/1898 and no children from this marriage. She is referred to as "Aunt Sis" by the family. Nancy died 1/15/1941 and is buried in Grove Hill Cemetery near Mansfield. Louisiana.
