JOE G. ORSAK Joe G. Orsak, 83, of El Campo passed away on Saturday Dec. 9, 2006. He was born on April 14, 1923 in Moravia, Texas to the late Joe C. and Rosie Tupa Orsak. He was a farmer and a carpenter. Mr. Orsak was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 251, K.J.T., and the Czech Heritage Society. He was an usher and former administrative board member of St. Philips Church. Survivors include his daughters Patricia Leopold and husband Leonard of Hillje, and Cathy Leopold and husband Robert of El Campo, son Ronnie Orsak and wife Jeanette of Victoria, brothers Edwin and Clement Orsak both of Victoria, grandchildren Philip Leopold, Gregory Leopold, Brian Leopold and wife Theresa, Russell Leopold and wife Raelyn, Tammy Leopold, Becky Shedd, and Amanda Castillo and husband Paul, great grandchildren Bryce and Kelsie Castillo, Dawson Orsak, and Nathan Leopold. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Leona Orsak and sister Hattie Kresta. Visitation will begin on Monday at 11 AM at Triska Funeral Home. A wake service will be held on Monday at 7 PM at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM at St. Philips Catholic Church with Rev. Bob Fisher officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Memorial Park with Military Honors under the auspices of American Legion Post 251. Pallbearers will be Philip Leopold, Gregory Leopold, Brian Leopold, Russell Leopold Tammy Leopold, Becky Shedd, and Amanda Castillo. Honorary pallbearers will be his Great-Grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to St. Philips School Endowment Fund or Donors Choice. Services are under the direction of Triska Funeral Home.
