Frances C. Thompson Visit Guest Book Thompson, Frances C. Jan 21, 1916 - Dec 5, 2011 Age 95. Passed away at Papillion Manor in Papillion, NE. Born in West Point NE to Miles and Clara Radler; married Leon W. Thompson of Wisner, NE, married 72 years. Frances and Leon were residents of Carter Lake, IA for 70 years where they raised 4 children. She retired from the Corps of Engineers after many years of service. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband. She leaves behind 4 children, Bonnie Ringdahl of Green River, WY, Jerry Thompson of Mission Hills, CA, Christie Christoffersen of La Vista, NE, Kathie Druse of Sun City, AZ; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was a wonderful mother, wife and grandma with many long-time friends. She will be missed more than words can say, by all who knew her. A Rosary will be said at Our Lady of Carter Lake Church at 3501 N. 9th St, Carter Lake, IA on Saturday, Dec 17th at 12:30 PM. Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Luncheon to be served at The Carter Lake Improvement Club, 4328 N. 9th St, Carter Lake, IA, at 1:00 pm. Interment will be on Sunday, Dec 18th at St Michael Cemetery in West Point, NE. ∼ Died at nursing home approx 6 a.m. Interred in Radler family plot, same as husband Leon and parents
