Bio Information taken from the Austin American-Statesman, Austin, Texas December 10, 2003 David Pound was born in Houston, Texas on Sept 23, 1928. He attended McGregor Elementary, Lanier Jr. High School, and Lamar High School. He went to the University of Houston in the fall of 1948 and graduated in 1953 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music. He never married and had no children. He was predeceased by his sister Mary Elizabeth Pound on Sept 21, 2000, and on May 9th 2001 by his brother John Hugh Pound.
