Bio

Mary E. Futch, the eldest of ten children— eight remained in Ouachita County until six years of age, when her father, in 1851, emigrated to what is now Columbia County, Ark., where she has since resided, except one year spent in Hill County, Tex. She received her education in the common schools, and was married to Dave Futch on March 12, 1865. She joined the Missionary Baptist Church, August 18, 1872. * * * *
