The Eugene Register-Guard Lane County, Oregon Wednesday, December 14, 2011 Cleona Hill PLEASANT HILL — A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Dec. 17, at Major Family Funeral Home in Springfield for Cleona DeEtta Hill of Pleasant Hill, who died Dec. 6 of age-related causes. She was 92. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, at the funeral home. She was born Dec. 17, 1918, in Pleasant Hill to James and Caroline Wallace Awbrey. She married William Hill on Dec. 31, 1947, in Pleasant Hill. He died Nov. 17, 2002. She graduated from Pleasant Hill High School. She was a homemaker and worked as a seamstress. Survivors include a son, Michael of Pleasant Hill; two stepdaughters, Betty Liebentritt of Omaha, Neb., and Teresa Bartholome of DeLeon Springs, Fla.; a stepson, Don Hill of Fordland, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. A grandson, Ronnie Liebentritt, died in 1990. Private burial will be at Wallace Creek Cemetery. Remembrances to Sacred Heart Hospice or Wallace Creek Cemetery.
