Bio

Jasper Pynes was born in February 1834 in Henry (now Houston) County Alabama to Fair Pynes and Mary Anna Creech Pynes. After the death of his father he moved with his mother and brother and sister to Franklin County Texas. He married Amelia Debra Ann Lampley January 1857.They are parents of Daniel, Augusta Calista (Beavers), Texas (Davis) and Chester. He died May 16, 1909. He and Amelia are at rest in Providence Cemetery. Augusta Calista Beavers and husband Dr. William Lafayette Beavers are at rest in Hawkins City Cemetery Memorial# 79723389
