Bio

Atchison Daily Globe , 25 Feb 1973, p. 2 Helena C. Gaydusek, 72, Everest, died at Sisters Hospital in St. Joseph last week. She was born at [O'Neill], Nebraska, Dec. 12, 1900. She was married to John P. Gaydusek May 21, 1924 at Mercier. She was a member of St. Leo's Catholic church at Horton and St. Leo's Alter Society. Survivors include her husband of the home; one son, Loren, Grandview, Missouri; three brothers, Roy Schuetz and Louis Schuetz, Horton; Norman Schuetz, San Leandro, California; three sisters; Mrs. Junius (Viola) Smith , Whiting; Mrs. Albert (Frances) Spencer , and Mrs. George (Nora) Spence, both of Hiawatha. Seven grandchildren also survive. Funeral services at St. Leo's with burial in All Saints cemetery in Everest.
