Bio

R. Darlene "Pug" (Colson) Kapustka, 83, of Broken Bow died of leukemia Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, at her home. Pug was born Sept. 5, 1928, at home in Palisade to Ray and Lily (Troxel) Colson. In June 1947, she married Charles Sargent Jr. In 1995, she married Richard "Dick" Kapustka of Broken Bow. He died in 2002. Survivors are: sons, Eddie Sargent of Ingleside, Texas, and Jody Sargent of Phoenix; daughters, Debbie Myers of Broken Bow, Bonnie Mayo of Anselmo, Cindy Wagner of Fremont and Waxi Sargent of Hastings; brother, Les Colson; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; stepson, Gary of Omaha; and special friend, Vaughn Lyne of Broken Bow. Burial was in the New Helena Cemetery. Published in Kearney Hub on December 5, 2011
