Bio

Services for Mable L. Hayes, 73, of Huntington, will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Huntington Cemetery. Mrs. Hayes died Thursday in a local hospital. A lifetime resident of Huntington, she was a member of the Highway Missionary Baptist Church of Huntington. Survivors: sister, Ellen Hayes of Huntington; four nieces, Jean Abbott, Margie Russell, Deanna Thomas and Jimmie Bentley. Obituary in The Lufkin Daily News, Jul. 25, 1980
