Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Orene Naff Hammon, age 84, are scheduled for Monday, October 15, 2012 at Bethel Baptist Church with Dr. L. H. McCollough and Rev. Kevin McDaniel officiating. Interment will follow in Beekman Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:30 PM until 3 PM service time at Bethel Baptist Church. Mrs. Hammon, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Friday, October 12, 2012 at The Terrace of Bastrop. She loved her children very much and she was an extremely good cook and seamstress. She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Brown and husband J.E. Brown of Monroe, LA; sons, William Hammon and fiance Martha Adcock of Farmerville, LA, James Newton Hammon and wife Pamela of Hamburg, AR; grandchildren, Amy Antley and husband Eric, Julie Hayes and husband Michael, Jay Brown, Cassanna Wuensche and husband John, Anna Christine Little; great grandchildren, Jordyn, Austyn, Tyler, Sydney, Avery, Cooper, Charlotte, Jack, Ainslee, and Dillon. Mrs. Hammon is preceded in death by her husband Edward Warner Hammon; parents, Jack Allen Naff and Ruby Naff; three brothers and three sisters. Serving as pallbearers will be Charlie Coody, Eric Antley, Dillon Goodwin, Tommy Little, Jay Brown, and Michael Hayes. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of Bethel Baptist Church, Carl Ray Brodnax, David Montgomery, and Bert Campbell.
