Bio

1st Sgt John W. Naylor was a passenger on an Army C-47 transport that went down on Mt. Carbone, 20 miles S.S.W of Cuneo, Italy. The plane had left Pisa, Italy on 28 November 1947, headed to Rhein Main AFB in Frankfurt, Germany. Due to the harsh weather conditions it took 8 months to find and recover the plane and it's occupant's.
