Bio
Lydia passed away Saturday, October 22, 2011, in San Antonio, TX. Lydia M. Gerardino was born October 15, 1915, in Ponce, Puerto Rico to Pedro and Margarita Luchessi Gerardino. She grew up in Ponce and it was there on December 24, 1943, that she married Willie Truss. They made their home wherever Willie was stationed while serving in the military. Among the places they called home were Texas, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina and Puerto Rico. Lydia received an Associate's Degree in Business and worked as a secretary for General Electric. She has made her home in San Antonio for the past several years. Lydia, better known as Tata to her family, will be greatly missed by all. Lydia is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Truss, daughter, Margaret Compain and daughter-in-law, Maureen Truss.
